The results of the STROOP test that measures the impact of hypnosis on focused attention were reported in The New York Times in 2005. The test showed that people perform better under hypnosis.
Another study found that people under hypnosis were able to memorise new words in a foreign language more easily.

Study method 📈: The effects of hypnosis and suggestion were measured in a controlled clinical trial for learning the vocabulary of a foreign language.
1️⃣ Participants (N = 70) were hypnotised randomly.
2️⃣ They were given a first test of 21 words in Spanish.
3️⃣ They were then tested immediately afterwards, and a week later.
⏩ The results were analysed.
🥇 The sample group under hypnosis had much better results in both tests.
CONCLUSION 🧑🎓: Hypnosis is positive for learning a foreign language and remembering vocabulary.
