Hypnosis is a natural state that we all experience every day. This state is similar to a state of daydreaming, a state of relaxation, and hyperconcentration.
Here are some examples of when we enter a state of hypnosis:
- Driving: We arrive at our destination having lost track of time, with blanks on the way, like being on automatic pilot. Yet we were driving all the time!
- Reading or watching a film: We have all been caught up in a good film or book that’s engrossing; a great plot full of twists and turns that makes us lose track of time. We forget what’s going on around us.
Hypnosis develops this state of dissociation associated with deep relaxation and hyperconcentration. We use relaxation to guide the Hypnoledge user to this optimised state of consciousness.
